LoHi Residents Can Now Get Fresh, Organic Produce Boxes on a Weekly Basis at The Bindery

With the absence of a local farmers market in the Lower Highlands (LoHi), The Bindery--an all-day bakery, market and eatery--is bringing fresh, organic produce back to the neighborhood.

GoBox Colorado, in partnership with Grower’s Organic, will be distributing its weekly subscription, GoBoxes, from The Bindery every Saturday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.  The insulated and reusable GoBoxes contain a week’s worth of fresh, seasonal produce from a selection of local and regional organic farms. This program supports LoHi’s sustainability efforts, enhances the livability of the neighborhood and reduce residents’ ecological footprint.

Orders can be placed through GoBoxColorado.com and must be placed by Wednesday in order to have a box ready for pickup on Saturday. GoBox subscribers will also receive a weekly “What’s Fresh” email that will outline the contents of the week’s deliveries and give recipe inspiration for each item. The following GoBoxes are available for pick up at The Bindery:

  • Small Box – feeds 1-2 people and comes with between 6 and 8 varieties of fruits and vegetables.  $27
  • Large Box – feeds 2-4 people and comes with between 9 and 10 varieties of  fruits and vegetables. $40

The program will kick off on Saturday, April 7 and will continue on a weekly basis thereafter. GoBoxes will be available for pickup between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Bindery (1817 Central St.) – boxes will be available for pickup outside (weather permitting)
